Thanks Berliant… I did follow the same steps but for the fact that I should have put in the path to the workflow from the var folder than the conf. I chose conf since that was the closest that contained the jcr:content per the documentation. the document will also need to have updates on msm and the way to create it from miscadmin does not seem right to me since there is no such folder
