I am currently experimenting other apps to see if they work. Unfortunately, Costco app and NFL mobile app are no longer compatible with my IPod Touch 4th generation. It depends on the app, they have officially upgraded to iOS 7.0 and 8 and there no way I can convert both apps back to its older version. Your instructions are not compatible to apps that have already been upgraded to iOS 7.and 8.
