Export .fla to .mp4 or .mov without lowering resolution

So... I made an animation in flash, and I would like to put it in imovie.

It seems to me that I cannot put swf files in imovie, so I "Export movie using quicktime" making it into a .mov or a .mp4. But after exporting, the videos always look horrible.

Is there a way around this?
