What computer operating system is your Premiere Elements 13 running on? For now, I will assume Windows 7, 8, or 8.1 64 bit.
Please put your iPhone 6 video through the MediaInfo (Tree View)
and let us know the properties of your cell phone video.
Cell phone video can be a problem for Premiere Elements (several versions)
a. out of sync audio
b. failure to import
c. other
due to the cell phone video being recorded with a variable rather than constant frame rate. If we see 3 frame rates listed
for your cell phone video in Media Info (min. in between max), then we will know that we are dealing with video recorded with
a variable frame rate. We can try to convert the variable to constant frame rate with a free program such as HandBrake.
We also have to establish that you (manually) or the program (automatically) are setting the correct project preset to match
the properties of your cell phone video. After you import your video into the Premiere Elements project, tell us what you see
under Edit Menu/Project Settings/General for Editing Mode, Timebase, Frame Size, and Pixel Aspect Ratio.
Let us start here and then decide what next.
Thank you.
