That has been true for several years. I first noticed it on IRS forms and installed Reader for that purpose. Other machines have newer versions of Acrobat, but this one still has 5. For what I need on this machine, 5 is fine as long as I have Reader for newer PDFs. If I have something that I need to deal with beyond this capability, I go to another machine, such as my Win7 system with XI. So either accept the situation, or purchase a new version of Acrobat. Sorry, but that is the current status.
