You need the PDF printer. This is called Adobe PDF, shows up in the Printers Control Panel, and is installed automatically. Or it was. The chances of this ancient version of Acrobat working in Acrobat 8 is pretty small, but you can try doing a REPAIR (Acrobat Help menu).
