I have made a normal blank project in Captivate 8 and I have copied the slides over from another Captivate responsive project.
The reason for this is because the HTML5 output only works on Internet Explorer and nothing else! The performance of the HTML5 output in Internet Explorer doesn't work properly either. The alignment of text is wrong, bullet points were all left aligned (even though they were indented slightly to the right) and captions are slightly moved as if it was trying to re-size the screen and so I had the issue that some of the text was being cut off at the bottom.
After I had copied the slides over and published it, the SWF output was 80mgb (way too big for a SCORM package). The "Compress SWF file" was enabled and it still left the size of the images and audio as is. The images are PNG and have to be because I need the transparency. I have gone through and reduced the size of each individual Image and it has reduced the size but it seems ludicrous going through and doing this for the 27 other projects I have to do.
Why isn't the responsive project working on any browser? Why isn't captivate compressing the SWF?
