Only the public-beta of ACR 8.7 has been released, not the final version. There is no public beta of the next version of LR, but I’d expect the final ACR 8.7 and final LR x.x to be released on the same day. I am guessing this will be after the Canon 7D Mark II comes out in some time in November, so it could be more than a month.
If you want to work on your VLux images in LR, now, use the DNG Converter 8.7 RC and convert them to DNGs, which will open in older LR versions.
