Hello,
I have a problem with an image sequence in Indesign CC. I use many high resolution jpg files (all with an ascending file name as required for image sequences) and the image sequence looks crisp/sharp on my iPad Retina display. However, I place the first image as placeholder and then add the image sequence to it via the overlay panel. Also the first image is high resolution BUT it is a bit pixelated. As soon as I start the image sequenence on my iPad, all the images are crisp. It's just the first static picture that makes a problem. Alternatively, I also tried to place a container frame and add the image sequence via the overlay panel where I activated "show first image first". For whatever reason, this does not work and it shows an image from the middle of the image sequence instead of the first one. (This is why I normally placed the first jpg file and then added the image sequence to it.)
What can I do to make the first static image look sharp on my iPad?
